Platform’s next adventure into New England IPAs is opaque, hazy and straw-colored. Huge grapefruit and lime citrus character carry through to the finish accompanied by stone fruit and subtle mint. Wheat and oats provide a soft mouthfeel which helps to round out the bitterness.
Here you have what could be the first malt liquor worthy of a glass. Typically a slighted style, we thought we would class it up with a stay in the wood and a healthy dose of dry-hopping. A huge hit of corn gives this one a smooth sweetness while its time spent aging in bourbon barrels will give you reason to share. Be warned: this one’s a pry-off, not a twist-off.
The coffee lover’s consummate beer. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates and two types of coffee, this stout has an intense fresh-roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.
Holy Crap! evolved by accident, when our brewer blended two different styles of beer. After months of digging for the recipe, we learned: you can’t suppress a brewer’s gust instinct. This 9.0% ABV Imperial Red Ale leads with a strong malt body and finishes with the dry bitterness of a 65-million year extinction. Hold on to your butts!!!
Sweet potatoes, brown sugar, molasses, nutmeg, and cassia buds. This is a fantastic dessert beer.
This sour cider is wild skin contact fermented apples with peaches, honey and orange zest. Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus from the wild yeast on our fruit lends a funk forward, tangy and sour characteristic. Pairs well with cheese, the funkier the better! Limited small batch availability.
To elevate this cider’s bright, citrusy personality, we’ve dry-hopped it, using a blend of columbus, centennial & cascade hops – the legendary “three C’s.” Fresh lemongrass focuses the hop overtones and enhances the complex flavors.
